3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

GradBro uses artificial intelligence to provide writing assistance. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI suggestions are meant to assist and inspire, not to replace your own voice and ideas
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalizing all content before submission to any institution
• AI-generated suggestions may not always be accurate, appropriate, or aligned with specific admission requirements
• We do not guarantee that using our Service will result in admission to any educational institution
• The final essay you submit must be your own authentic work that represents your genuine experiences and perspectives

4. User Content and Ownership

Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all essays, personal statements, and other content you create using GradBro ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over your work.

License to Process: By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes transmitting your content to our AI providers for analysis and feedback generation.

No Training on Your Content: We do not use your essays or personal content to train our AI models. Your content is processed only to generate real-time feedback and suggestions for you.

5. Voice Recording Consent

Our essay ideation feature includes voice conversation capabilities. By using this feature, you consent to:

• Recording and processing of your voice input during ideation sessions
• Transcription of your voice recordings for analysis and idea extraction
• Storage of session transcripts to help you develop your essay ideas

You may delete your voice session data at any time through your account settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GradBro responsibly and ethically. You shall not:

• Submit AI-generated content as entirely your own work without substantial personal contribution and editing
• Use the Service to produce content that misrepresents your experiences, achievements, or identity
• Violate any academic integrity policies of educational institutions
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or extract our AI models or algorithms
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate harmful content

GradBro is a writing assistant tool. Your essays should ultimately reflect your authentic voice, experiences, and ideas.

7. Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

8. Purchases and Refunds

If you purchase any paid features or subscriptions, you agree to provide accurate payment information. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued, except in exceptional circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to tjay@gradbro.com within 7 days of purchase.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI SUGGESTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT USE OF OUR SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ADMISSION TO ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. ADMISSION DECISIONS ARE MADE SOLELY BY THE INSTITUTIONS AND DEPEND ON MANY FACTORS BEYOND THE QUALITY OF YOUR ESSAYS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRADBRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF ADMISSION OPPORTUNITIES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR WHETHER WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
